Create a WorkWay account

Sign in at workway.dev with Google or a magic link. A free account is enough — every MCP tool works on the free plan.
2

Generate an API key

Open API Keys in your dashboard, give the key a name (for example Claude Desktop), optionally pick an expiry, and create it.
The key is shown once. Only a SHA-256 hash is stored, so it cannot be retrieved later — copy it before closing the panel.
3

Add the server to your client

WorkWay is a remote MCP server, so there is nothing to install — you point your client at the endpoint and supply your key.
Restart your client after editing its config file.
4

Ask for something

Try one of these:

Search

“Find remote senior backend roles posted this week.”

Research

“What is Stripe hiring for right now?”

Save

“Save the second and third of those for me.”

Track

“Follow Figma so I hear about new roles.”

Verifying it works

If tools do not appear, check the key directly:
A working key returns the list of ten tools. Anything else returns 401 with a message naming the cause:
Use a separate key per client. Revoking the one on a machine you no longer use then leaves your other clients working.
